Late at night, Maggie and Frank receive a call from their daughter, Alice. While driving through the woods, she’s hit a pedestrian. Right away, they set off to meet her. But as united as they are in their desire to help her, they’re just as divided on what to do. There’s plenty to discuss on a car ride that never seems to end and in which nothing is quite as it seems.
