- Tunnel Visions
Tunnel Visions is the conception of young, local artists, out to prove themselves in Munich’s growing musical subculture. This festival brings artists together with listeners in search of distinct moods in music. The sound of Tunnel Visions mixes electronic and acoustic instrumentalists & vocalists for a vivid evening of contemporary music. The event even takes place in a tunnel-like venue, Milla Club, a central hub of the city’s music scene.
Live Techno. Achieved purely acoustically on piano, bass and drums without computers or synthesizers. From lyrical to minimal, deep to industrial: the sound of LBT is multifaceted
while being constantly pushed forward by a pulsing bass drum. Their music is a journey within, inviting dreams and ecstatic dancing alike. Having grown up on modern jazz, this trio takes its true love seriously: improvisation. One might hear delicate phrasing from the piano or its strings prepared with guitar picks, the bass bowed beautifully or nearly chopped to pieces, and the drums fully exhausted from fine rustling to mighty grooves.
- Ark Noir
A Munich-based collective that defies most typical genre association, Ark Noir blends electronic- inspired beats with instrumental improvisation to create new sounds derived from a plethora of influences. Not necessarily a “dance band,“ Ark Noir considers its music conducive to movement, capable of transmitting cinematic imagery into listeners’ minds.
- Alban Winter x Triggerboy
The eclectic output of the Berlin based drummer/producer Ludwig Wandinger is a glooming mix of glittering sounds, brainfeeder-esque beats, UK-influenced sound design and Weilheim pop structures. He is premiering a concept, in which the typical electronic live performance gets reshaped through his influence of the improvisational approach of raw, contemporary free-jazz.
