EVALINE are a rock band from California formed by school friends Perry (Vocals), Dominic DiCiano (Guitar), Steven Pedersen (Bass), Christian Lewis (Guitar) and Petersen brothers Greg (Drums) and Dan (Guitar).
Fresh out of school, Evaline’s earliest songs were released on Madonna’s Maverick label with the EP: Postpartum Modesty, a Portrait of Skin which quickly attracted a loyal fanbase in USA. Now in their early twenties, Evaline released their debut album, WOVEN MATERIAL, in 2011 which includes the lead track BENEATH THE FIRE (iTunes Single of The Week in USA) and ‘THERE THERE’ (Tunes Single of the Week in the UK). The album went to no. 8 in the iTunes Rock chart in USA and reached no.43 on Billboard Heatseekers chart in week of release.

Over the last year the band has supported Linkin Park, Bush, Deftones, Neon Trees, Dredg, Placebo, Young Guns and My Chemical Romance. Their shows at SXSW 2011 earned them rave reviews including AndPOP’s ‘top 6 bands of SXSW’. The band spent summer 2011 in Europe impressing festival crowds with shows at Hard Rock Calling (London), T in The Park (Scotland), Werchter (Belgium), Hurricane/ Southside (Germany), Arras Festival with Coldplay (France) and were handpicked by My Chemical Romance as support at the iTunes Festival. Following the success of ‘There There’ in Europe the band is returning for club shows in their own right in September and October before they start work on recording their next album.
In 2012 their track ‘There There’ became the Official UEFA ‘Respect’ song of the EURO 2012 football tournament when it was chosen as the theme music for the RESPECT: SWAP YOUR JERSEY TV ad spot which was broadcast worldwide during the tournament with confirmed plays during half time ads in all matches, at each of the match stadiums and on repeat at the Fan Zones in Poland and Ukraine.
